What is the coalition?

The Families & Foster Care Coalition is a coalition of organizations working together to provide resources, engagement opportunities and a network of support to address the crisis in foster care. As of Spring 2024, the Families & Foster Care Coalition is now housed permanently within the Heart of Texas Goodwill.

We can help by:

• Offering a starting place to get involved in tangible ways without actually fostering.
• Educating your community group or congregation on ways to get involved as a group.
• Providing small opportunities that make a big difference.
• Directing prospective volunteers or foster parents to resources.
