Pennies on the Pound Partnerships
Raise Money for What Matters Most

Cookie dough. Wrapping paper. Mattresses. Is your organization looking for a fundraiser that doesn’t require door to door sales or soliciting family and friends to buy things?

If so, a Pennies on the Pound (PoP) Partnership is for you! It gives your non-profit organization the supplemental funding it needs to meet growing demands and organizational goals by simply collecting gently used items and donating them to Goodwill.

The process is simple:

1.Meet with a Donations Coordinator to determine goals and secure available dates.

2. Promote the event using the marketing materials provided, and coordinate volunteers to work the event.

3. The day of the event, volunteers will load the trailer(s) and keep track of total number of donors present.

4. The Donations Coordinator will utilize before and after certified weight tickets to determine the total pounds collected. Your organization will receive a check equal to $0.20 per pound collected, with the check issued within two weeks.
